We have recently returned from our third trip to Vietnam arranged once again by TNK Travel's staff, Luu Vo, Dac Danh and hosted by our wonderful guide "JJ" and excellent driver in HCMC and our great guide Quyen and terrific driver Thanh in Hanoi. All your staff are so reliable, helpful, courteous and informative. We always enjoy their company so much and really miss them when we have to part. Thank you so very much for another excellent holiday, great hotels and a wonderful tour. Thank you for a very successful tour. The clients were very satisfied ! Mr Ky was excellent as was his assistant, Khan(?). The transport, accommodation, and the food provided was very good. Just revisited the TNK website and thought I would add to the travel guest book. My wife, self, and two friends travelled with TNK in Jan 2008. We started in HCMC, took a bus to Phnom Phen, a ferry to Siem Reap, plane to Hanoi, went trekking at Sapa, cruising on Halong Bay, then train to Hue. From initial emails putting my ideas into a manageable itinerary the organisation was seemless. Transfers, accommodation, driver/guides in Vietnam and Cambodia, our diminutive Hmong guide Shu in Sapa, and our meet and greet in Hanoi, TNK arranged everything brilliantly.
We have since recommended TNK to friends who travelled with them this year and could not speak highly enough of the company. And as a bonus the price for our tour was over one thousand dollars cheaper than equivalent prices quoted by Australian tour operators. Congratualtions to Mr Dan and the team at TNK

My husband and I have now returned to New Zealand from our very memorable holiday in Vietnam and Cambodia. TNK booked the Mekong Tour to Phnom Penh for us and our tour guide was JJ. Our Mekong tour was wonderful, mostly due to JJ who looked after us so well in every way. JJ was a very professional, friendly and helpful guide. We would be very grateful if you could forward this email to JJ's manager. We would highly recommend JJ as a tour guide for any foreign visitor to your country. We would like to make one small suggestion about the tour. It would have been helpful to have the correct Cambodia Visa forms prior to our departure on the boat to Phnom Penh. Before our departure from New Zealand, we did download forms from the Cambodian Embassy web site - bu we did download forms from the Cambodian Embassy web site - but on the day, the Cambodian Customs required a different form. The only other comment we would like to offer, and this has nothing to do with the TNK Mekong Tour itself, but we were very concerned about the terrible living condition for the two bears at the Crocodile Park. The trip to Mekong delta was an absolute highlight,a wonderful,skillful driver,Mr Hung and a most informative and capable guide Huy enabled us to have many great experiences.
Also the lady at the front desk who assisted me in printing out our boarding passes for the next day flights to KL and Melbourne was wonderful and most cooperative. Day 1: Hanoi – Valentine Junk Halong ( L , D )
We depart from the capital at 8 :30 am for Ha Long Bay approximately three hours away. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Dao center run for and by handicapped children for short break. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay we will be met by captain and cruise and transferred to Valentine .Welcome on board of the Valenine and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestonegrotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Valentine restaurant. If weather permits, a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night.
8.30: Spend 3 hours sight seeing country Vietnam on the way to Halong city. Arrive at Orchid Pier just before 12.00 noon. 12.30: Boarding Valentine for departure. Welcome drink is served. 13.00 - 14.30: Lunch is served while cruising through BAI TU LONG Bay. 16.00: Trekking or swimming at SOI SIM Island. 17.15: Cruising to visit HANG DOI water tunnel with row boat. 18.30: Docking for overnight. 19.30: Diner is served. Guests dancing with Valentinel staff's interaction. Accommodation and overnight on junk.
Day 2: Valentine Junk Halong Cruise - Hanoi ( B , L )
Rising to the tranquil beauty of the bay we have time for a morning Yoga class with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, a short trek to a nearby summit.
06.30: Sunrise Yoga on sundeck. Coffee or tea is served. 08.00: Visit splendid SUNG SOT grotto with a quick glimpse at the nearby fishing village. 09.00: Buffet breakfast while cruising back through Ha Long Bay to the pier. 10.00: Luggage pulls out. Clear all bills. 11.00: Arrive at the pier. Time to say Goodbye. Transfer back to Hanoi.
