Dear Hang, This is just a short note to thank you for all the effort you put into making our trip to Vietnam enjoyable. We were all most impressed with the efficiency of the transport arrangements, the friendliness of the guides and the helpfulness of the hotel staff where ever we stayed. The whole trip went very efficiently and we must commend you highly. We loved Vietnam. The staff at the hotel in Hanoi were fantastic and I would highly recommend it.I did think that it may be helpful for you to know about the only 2 things that may have been able to be avoided: 1. The hotel at Hoi An (the Hoi An Hotel) was very big and very noisy as a result of the many tour groups that were staying there. We were given a room in the downstairs foyer, with the rubbish collection area outside our window and found this room very noisy through out the night. Also the bathrooms have limited hot water facilities, permitting only one very small bath to be run before the hot water runs out. Despite the fact that the room itself was nice, and the staff and food good, I would not chose to stay there again. 2. Another suggestion is that if people wish to visit Sapa, and stay in a home stay, accommodation in the home stay should not be arranged for the first night, as the train trip is very noisy and bumpy so that one doesn’t get much sleep. Our itinerary planned that on arrival in Sapa we should go to our proposed hotel to have breakfast and a shower. This would have been nice. But this didn’t happen as we were not staying at the hotel that night, and were not given the choice by the guide. Instead we were taken to a restaurant for 2-3 hours, before starting on our tour of the villages. We were not at all happy about sitting in a restaurant for 3 hours as we were all cold, tired and dirty. The weather was unfortunately awful – freezing cold. Obviously the weather could not be foreseen when we planned the itinerary, but the icy weather didn’t help things. I think that the guide should have contacted you for your suggestions when he realised how bad the weather would be. I hope that you find these suggestions helpful. Despite the bad weather in the north with your help we had a lovely trip and really appreciated your efforts to put the Halong Bay disappointment right. We will definitely be travelling with you again if we decide to revisit Asia, and will be recommending your company (and you) to friends who wish to visit your area. Thank you again. Regards
mpThanks
Dear Dzung, I just had an e-mail from my friend Martin Purvis about his trip to Vietnam. He is absolutely delighted with all the work you did. Thanks for taking such good care of him. I'm not surprised. As I tell everyone, TNK is the best outfit in Vietnam! Martin says he is hoping to go to Cambodia on his next trip. Can you help in Cambodia? Here is what Martin wrote about you:
"Our visit to Viet Nam was fantastically good, and I very much appreciate for your advice and assistance. I never met Djung in person, but we spoke on the phone a few times, and his arrangements were all superb. Even though we arrived two days late because of a travel snafu, he managed to rearrange all of our excursions. He also arranged for us to have vegetarian food throughout our trip. I would heartily recommend his organisation to anyone else." Great work! Maybe you should put his comments on your website.
Please send us pictures of your new baby! Can you sleep through the night yet? Thanks again for all you did for my friend. All the best, mp
Waltraud PokornyDear Ms Nhu, Operation Department
My best greetings to you. In May 2007 I came with my husband to visit your lovely country. We very much enjoyed staying at Sasco Blue Lagoon Resort/Phu Quoc and Windsor Plaza Hotel/HCM-City, where we met your nice Tour Operator, Miss Dinh Thi Ngoc Phung. Here we spent a very interesting time while visiting a part of the beautiful Vietnam and also Blue Lagoon was excellent for relaxing. Thank you very much for everything it was perfect.

Hi Winston – a note of thanks for our wonderful trip to Vietnam. Everything went without a hitch – absolutely superb !!! The guides were fantastic as was the country and all the places we went and people we met. The trip covered a variety of sites, activities and experiences so I congratulate you on organizing it for us.
I have only one comment to make and that’s regarding tipping the tour guides. As we don’t tip in Australia , nor do the Vietnamese, but considering the poor wages we had no idea what to tip and we couldn’t tip the guide without the driver. Perhaps giving some guide to future travelers would be of benefit. We overtipped in the beginning but got it figured out by the end after asking Mr Danh & Mr Trang. Also we weren’t sure about tipping the boat drivers considering we were the only ones on the boat eg on Perfume River and Halong Bay.
This is a trivial issue in the big scheme of things so I want to make more the point about the fabulous timing and thought you put into our time there. Again , many thanks.

Went in middle of February 2008 when the weather was bitterly cold & misty. This was a real shame as everyone agreed it would have been a fabulous two days otherwise.

Dear Ms Nhu and Mr Trinh, I just wanted to send you a short message to thank you for organising our tour to the Mekong delta. We enjoyed it very much, and enjoyed meeting Mr Lan (our guide) and Mr Tam (our driver). I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Kind regards David Williams

GarthTNKTnk provided me with flawless service. As an American travelling alone in Viet Nam I was a little nervous before my departure, but the entire staff was very kind to me - always making sure that I was comfortable, informed and where I needed to be on time. Highly recommended both for price and quality of service. -G

We have just returned from Vietnam and had a wonderful time. We spent five days in HCMC and five in Hanoi. The sights, sounds and smells were a great experience. Many thanks to TNK travel and Mr Vu who helped organise the Halong Bay 2 day/1 night cruise. They also organised accomodation, at a price way cheaper then what we could manage.
Again, many thanks, and we would recommend TNK to anyone.
Paola & RenatoViet Nam package tour
Dear Ms. Luu Vo, we are now back in Italy and we took with us very nice memories of Vietnam. We are very satisfied with the service your agency offered to us during the tour: very good guides, confortable cars, water at our disposal. Just to help you to offer a better service to your future clients and travellers, we wish to submit you our comments for 2 things that could be improved: 1. the Halong Bay cruise with Paloma: they just showed us two of the many attractions of the bay: one cave and Ti Top Island. We expected to see something more, otherwise we could have seen the same things on a daily trip, without spending the night on the boat. 2. Cuu Long Resort in Phu Quoc: the hotel is very old and not well mantained. The service is poor, the food is expensive for the quality offered, the staff hardly understands English. Next time, be sure that your clients are aware of what this resort has to offer. Maybe we would have spent a better time in Mui Ne. Please, don't take this comments as a claim: we are really happy of the overall quality of your package tour and this comments are just to let you know our last feed back. Kind regards Paola & Renato
